Job summary

GDIT is seeking a Systems Architect for 100% remote work in the United States to modernize a critical legacy application using Agile and Cloud practices. You will tailor cutting-edge solutions for government clients, focusing on user experience and scalability.

You’ll lead architectural design, conversations with customers and vendors, and the development of key artifacts. Requires 15+ years of leadership, strong communication, and ability to obtain a Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• 15+ years of technical leadership experience.
• Track record of leading and managing application modernization.
• Effective written and verbal communication (technical and non-technical).
• Deep experience in workflows, UI/UX, data models, and SDLC/Agile.
• Experience with Microsoft Azure or AWS and mobile development.

Responsibilities

• Lead solution design and develop architectural artifacts (diagrams, models, ops concepts).
• Lead discussions with customer and vendor to drive solutions.
• Define interfaces and ensure alignment with short- and long-term goals.
• Assess issues and craft resolutions to meet productivity and quality goals.
• Create technical implementation strategy for scalable, long-term growth.
• Clarify requirements and propose implementation approaches.
• Engage customers to vet solutions and advise on strategies.
