Job summary

Maximus is seeking a System Test Engineer to provide subject matter proficiency for USAF missions. You will conduct analytical studies, plan and develop test documents, and perform manual and automated testing (unit, integration, functional, end-to-end).

This remote role requires active TS/SCI clearance with CI Poly, a Bachelor's degree, 5 years' testing experience, plus experience with Jira, RESTful interfaces, and cloud testing. Travel up to 20% may be required.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI with the ability to obtain a CI Poly.
• Bachelor's degree required (Master's may substitute for 2 years).
• 5 years of recent and relevant experience in preparing, conducting, and documenting various systems tests to verify system operability and compliance.
• 3 years of experience with bug tracking software (e.g., Jira).
• 3 years of experience testing web-based applications.
• Practical experience testing and analyzing RESTful interfaces and sending/receiving RESTful information.
• Practical experience testing in a cloud environment.

• Willingness to travel 10% to 20% of the time, as needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide analytical skills to support process improvement, specialized studies, and definition of requirements.
• Perform various types of manual and automated software testing including unit, integration, functional, and end-to-end testing.
• Develop test documents and procedures to ensure system operability and compliance.
