Job summary

Indiana University Health seeks a System Nursing Call Center Manager to lead a statewide nursing call center with a focus on triage nursing, medication management, and clinical referrals. The role oversees remote staff, aligning clinical workflows with administrative strategy to ensure safety and efficiency.

The position is primarily remote with travel, requires IN residency, and prefers candidates with neuroscience and ambulatory leadership experience.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• 4–6 years of relevant leadership/managerial experience.
• Active RN license in Indiana or NLC RN license; must graduate from a nationally accredited nursing program.
• BLS certification through AHA with quarterly on-site RQI to retain status.
• Clinical Specialty Certification within 1 year of eligibility.
• Knowledge of business applications and the ability to plan and manage resources.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily operations of patient care and resources related to triage nursing, medication management, and clinical referral review.
• Manages a remote team of direct reports and aligns administrative strategy with frontline delivery.
• Ensures safety, accuracy, and efficiency across statewide nursing call center services.
• Provides continuity of care for patients while coordinating with clinical and support teams.
• Leads work groups, promotes teamwork, and supports policy adherence.
• Engages with Neurology, Neurosurgery, and PAC for system-wide coordination.
