Job summary

Liberty Dental Plan in Tustin, CA is seeking a System Configuration Analyst to optimize claims and Utilization Management (UM) systems. You will configure, test, and maintain system logic to support accurate benefit design and regulatory compliance.

The role involves collaboration with Claims, UM, IT, and Quality teams to ensure high‑quality service delivery while meeting operational goals. A remote or hybrid work arrangement is offered.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of PPO/HMO claims processing, billing, or auditing.
• HSP systems knowledge and dental procedure knowledge.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, Access).
• Strong written and verbal communication and presentation skills.
• Advanced analytical skills including data mining, reporting, and analysis.
• Ability to multitask and work with interruptions or competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, track, and complete claims and UM projects.
• Analyze and process complex claim and UM scenarios.
• Assist with benefit implementation and system configuration.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement member notifications.
• Support research projects and new business implementations as needed.
• Audit and test existing system code rules and provide improvement recommendations.
• Audit and test benefit setups related to claims and UM adjudication.
• Support Crystal Report implementation related to claims and UM activities.
