Responsibilities

• Establishes and maintains smooth operation of computer systems (OS, software, hardware) in networked or stand-alone configurations.
• Maintains system integrity and upgrades systems/servers as required.
• Consults with support teams, help desks, customers, and other technical staff to resolve problems.
• Coordinates and performs operation/maintenance activities for networks/servers.
• Plans for transition of environments to new technologies and documents procedures.
• Writes or modifies scripts to resolve performance problems and automate tasks.
• Recommends changes to improve systems and network configurations.
