Job summary

Black Pen Recruitment’s client, a leading IT services company, seeks a German-based IT professional for remote, full-time work in Germany. EU candidates only due to security clearance.

Responsibilities include installation, configuration, and maintenance of servers, OS and networking components, ensuring availability and security, managing user access, monitoring, backups, and risk assessment.

Qualifications

• In-depth knowledge of cloud technologies.
• Linux server and OS administration expertise.
• Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP and network protocols.
• Cryptographic procedures, digital signatures and certificates knowledge.
• Network security, encryption and access controls.

Responsibilities

• Installation, configuration and maintenance of servers, operating systems and network components.
• Ensure availability, performance and security of the IT infrastructure.
• Administration of user accounts and authorisations.
• Monitoring and maintenance with regular backups.
• Error analysis and troubleshooting of IT infrastructure.
• Documentation of system configurations and processes.
