Job summary

Kiewit is seeking a Sustainability Intern to support the Environmental team at the Corporate Home Office in Omaha, NE. The role includes regulatory research, data collection and analysis, and helping develop tools and training materials to track sustainability performance.

The intern will assist with greenhouse gas inventory and other metrics across waste, water, and biodiversity, while gaining real world experience in a large construction and engineering organization.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree in Environmental Science or related field in Environmental Compliance or Engineering.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Detail oriented, flexible and highly motivated.

Responsibilities

• Support regulatory research for the Home Office Environmental department.
• Keep abreast of sustainability legislation and regulations; conduct regulatory research development.
• Assist with conference calls, training, and data input to track sustainability performance.
• Assist with preparation and presentation of environmental training and GHG inventory.
