Job summary

Levi, Ray & Shoup, Inc. is seeking a UNICOM Survey Programmer for a remote contract role supporting a Chicago area client. The role focuses on designing and programming survey solutions using UNICOM Intelligence for CATI, CAWI, and hybrid modes.

The candidate will translate complex questionnaires into accurate scripts, implement routing and quotas, and collaborate with project managers and operations staff. At least 3 years' experience and US work authorization are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years hands-on experience in survey questionnaire development and/or programming.
• Minimum 1 year recent hands-on survey programming experience with UNICOM Intelligence.
• Strong understanding of Unicom-style logic-driven scripting, including complex routing, quota management, and interviewer workflows.
• Candidates must have permanent authorization to work in the USA for any employer.
• Corp to Corp candidates will not be considered.

Responsibilities

• Design, program, and test web-based and interviewer-administered survey solutions customized to project specifications.
• Program and maintain surveys within the Unicom Intelligence platform, supporting CATI, CAWI, and hybrid data collection modes as required.
• Translate complex questionnaires, specifications, and logic flows into accurate survey scripts.
• Implement skips, quotas, validations, piping, loops, and sample management rules within the Unicom environment.
• Work on cross-functional project teams including project managers, data processing, and operations staff.
• Troubleshoot survey logic issues, data flow problems, and production issues during fielding.
• Contribute to and maintain programming standards, documentation, and process improvements.
