Job summary

Stepful seeks experienced Adjunct Instructors to support its Surgical Technologist program. This fully remote, part-time, 1099 role involves teaching the 16-week didactic portion as needed, with coverage of live online modules and NCCT-related content.

Ideal candidates have active CST credentials, 3+ years clinical CST experience, and proven teaching ability. Expect 10 hours per week per class, with opportunities for future cohorts and additional teaching roles.

Qualifications

• Active Surgical Technologist Certification required.
• Clinical experience as a CST in a clinical setting.
• Experience teaching, tutoring, or instructing students.
• Comfort teaching live online classes via Zoom.
• Strong written and verbal communication; familiar with LMS.
• Ability to follow a standardized curriculum while adapting explanations.
• Commitment to inclusive, accessible education.
• Available to work 10 hours per week per class, Mon-Thur.

Responsibilities

• Teach live virtual classes over Zoom four times a week.
• Communicate with students via email and other tools.
• Provide ongoing support and plan for future modules.
• Deliver instruction aligned to Stepful's curriculum.
• Cover Sterile Processing concepts across CRCST domains.
• Assess student understanding via assignments and quizzes.
• Provide timely feedback and remediation.
• Document student progress and attendance.
• Collaborate with learning team on program goals.
• Suggest improvements to curriculum delivery.
