Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in Geology or related field and six years of surface mine reclamation work.
• Equivalent education, training, and experience acceptable.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ESRI ArcGIS products.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team of Reclamation Specialists/Inspectors and provide oversight.
• Coordinate compliance enforcement actions and assist with follow-up.
• Develop and sustain the Surface Mine Reclamation Award Program.
• Provide technical assistance to permit holders on reclamation methods.
