Job summary

Liberty Mutual Surety, a unit of Liberty Mutual Insurance, is seeking an SDI underwriting support specialist to assist underwriters and staff with processing, broker changes, and file maintenance. You will deliver exceptional service to internal and external customers and mentor teammates on complex tasks.

Responsibilities include handling detailed SDI/broker transactions, reconciling reports, supporting project requests, state regulatory compliance, and Bordereau schedules.

Qualifications

• 3+ years surety underwriting assistant experience or related work.
• Understanding of surety rating and processing functions preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Proficient with computer software used in Surety operations.

Responsibilities

• Process SDI/broker/processing transactions and reconciliations.
• Support underwriting and related functions such as state regulatory requirements and Bordereau schedules.
• Provide exceptional customer service to internal and external customers.
• Mentor and train other staff; act as a resource for workflows.
• Assist with office duties and billing/premium discrepancies.
• Collaborate with Underwriting Officer as needed.
• Attend User Acceptance Testing and resolve technical issues as assigned.
