Job summary

General Legal, an AI-native law firm delivering high-quality commercial contract work, seeks a Support & Triage Paralegal. You’ll be the first substantive touchpoint for client matters and for technology issues, triaging and routing tasks to attorneys or engineers as appropriate.

You’ll onboard attorneys and clients to the tech stack, maintain documentation, and own matter intake, scoping, and lifecycle from start to finish.

Qualifications

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent experience; bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Startup or high-growth exposure preferred; manage ambiguity and build process.
• Strong written and verbal communication; able to manage expectations with internal teams and clients.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for technology issues for internal attorneys and clients.
• Triage matters, determine whether attorney attention is needed, and route accordingly.
• Handle standard paralegal tasks: document revisions, NDA reviews, summaries, templates.
• Draft client communications and maintain updated templates as directed by attorneys.
• Maintain matter lifecycle and real-time attorney capacity; escalate when needed.
• Track and report on support requests and outcomes to improve efficiency.
