Job summary

Zirtual is seeking a highly organized Professional Liability Paralegal with hands-on experience using AI tools to support a high-volume civil litigation practice, including nursing home claims. This is an AI-forward role where you deploy, implement and use AI to improve workflows, drafting, research and case management.

You will work remotely as a 1099 independent contractor and coordinate with attorneys and clients.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience using AI tools in a professional/legal setting.
• Ability to independently deploy AI to improve workflows.

• Strong written and verbal communication; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Manage attorney email communications and assist with client communication.
• Draft clear, professional correspondence.
• Provide case management support for a high-volume caseload.
• Maintain calendars and track deadlines and milestones.
• Assist with settlement-related processes and documentation.
• Organize and manage case information and documentation.
• Help keep matters moving forward through proactive follow-up.
