Job summary

Foot Locker is seeking a Supply Chain Analytics intern in New York to analyze complex data sets, inform decisions, and improve customer experiences. You'll work with enterprise data, global supply chain, allocation, and store operations to identify opportunities and develop data-driven solutions.

You will build and maintain Power BI dashboards, explore KPIs, write SQL and Python scripts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive actionable improvements in a fast-paced retail

Qualifications

• Pursuing or recently completed a graduate degree in a quantitative field such as Operations Research, Industrial Engineering, Statistics, or Supply Chain Management.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Power BI or Tableau (nice to have).
• Proficiency in Excel with reporting/visualization experience.
• Proficiency in SQL and Python for data analysis and manipulation.
• Pro-active, self-motivated with strong communication.
• Ability to present findings clearly and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build and maintain global supply chain dashboards in Power BI with accurate data.
• Research and apply UI/UX best practices in dashboards for intuitive visuals.
• Analyze KPIs and support root cause analysis of underperforming metrics.
• Assist in user-driven report customizations for various supply chain use cases.
• Use SQL and Python to query/manipulate large datasets and automate processing.
• Participate in data gathering, analysis, and presentation of findings.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive data-driven actions.
