Job summary

Mortenson is seeking a Supplier Quality Manager – Energy and Infrastructure to implement, execute, and continuously improve Mortenson's SQMS. You will partner with Supply Chain, Engineering, Operations, Estimating, and suppliers to apply risk-based quality controls across supplier selection, manufacturing, testing, and nonconformance resolution.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Construction Management, Operations Management, Manufacturing Technology, Quality, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, quality engineering, quality systems, auditing, or construction.
• Experience auditing manufacturing facilities and evaluating QMS and manufacturing controls.
• Working knowledge of ISO 9001 principles, auditing techniques, nonconformance management, root cause analysis, and corrective action.
• Ability to interpret drawings, specs, purchase requirements, inspection criteria, test procedures, and quality records.

Responsibilities

• Implement and continuously improve the SQMS across assigned E&I groups, projects, suppliers, and equipment categories.
• Develop and deliver training; capture lessons learned and drive program improvements.
• Develop risk-based audit plans and execute supplier qualifications and audits.
• Review supplier quality plans, test plans, and sub-tier controls; ensure appropriate release criteria.
• Coordinate FATs, source inspections, and manufacturing surveillance; ensure evidence for release.
• Lead supplier containment, SCARs, root cause analysis, and corrective actions; monitor trends.
