Job summary

PROENERGY seeks a Supplier Quality Engineer - Electrical to ensure quality of electrical equipment for PowerFLX packages and turnkey plants. You will oversee FAT tests, witness ITPs, and manage supplier performance from qualification through shipment, collaborating with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.

The role is hands-on, supplier-facing, and requires strong knowledge of electrical systems, testing, and quality processes with international travel up to 75% as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related field; 8+ years of hands-on experience considered.
• Experience witnessing or performing FATs on switchgear, transformers, generators, or control systems.
• Strong knowledge of ISO 9001 quality management systems and NFPA 70E electrical safety practices.

Responsibilities

• Own and chair standing supplier quality and progress reviews.
• Witness FATs and functional testing; review ITPs, test procedures, and quality plans.
• Ensure data books, test records, calibration certificates, and OEM listings are complete.
• Lead NCRs/SCARs and drive corrective actions with suppliers.
• Coordinate cross-functional efforts with Engineering, Supply Chain, and Manufacturing.
