Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Supplier Quality Surveillance Engineer to support Procurement in supplier quality inspections and audits for electrical projects.

You'll read specifications, perform audits, analyze NCRs, and collaborate with project teams to prevent defects. Occasional travel up to 85% is required, with potential domestic and international assignments, and a commitment to Rosendin's quality standards.

Qualifications

• Electrical Engineering degree or equivalent
• 4 years of work experience in supplier quality
• 2 years of supplier quality experience with a 2-year degree in electrical tech
• 0-1 years with a 4-year bachelor’s in electrical engineering
• Knowledge of electrical procurement and vendor surveillance procedures
• Familiar with IEEE, NEC, NFPA, NESC, IBC, IFC standards
• Detail oriented with strong time management
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Willing to travel up to 85%

Responsibilities

• Perform quality assurance inspections and audits on materials and equipment
• Ensure subcontractor quality aligns with Rosendin standards
• Read and analyze equipment specs/drawings; advise on testing
• Document inspection results and propose corrective actions
• Support supplier and subcontractor qualification and audits
• Coordinate with project teams on quality issues
