Job summary

Safran S.A. is seeking a Supplier Performance Manager to advance category strategies with key suppliers by developing and monitoring continuous improvement initiatives.

The role focuses on identifying opportunities for process improvements, cost reduction, and supplier capability enhancements, while benchmarking industry best practices to drive value. The SPM will lead cross-functional teams, manage supplier performance metrics, and coordinate quarterly reviews and site visits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in appropriate discipline, or six years of related experience.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage supplier relationships, ensuring financial and service performance benefits.
• Communicate objective performance metrics: lead time reduction, on-time delivery, quality, and total cost of ownership.
• Identify supplier management plans and coordinate with internal/external resources to enhance supplier performance (technical, cost, delivery, business, quality).
• Meet with suppliers to develop continuous improvement plans through Quarterly Business Reviews or supplier visits; travel required.
• Monitor supplier overall performance and initiate action plans to correct failures.
• Lead cross-functional teams through performance management to meet goals.
