Responsibilities

• Direct the CAPMO enterprise to enforce compartmented security protocols, DNI directives, and Department of Energy security policies across the agency.
• Supervise a multidisciplinary team of federal security specialists and contractor personnel, managing day-to-day operations, workloads, and performance expectations.
• Formulate standardized intelligence access procedures and risk-mitigation strategies to resolve complex TS/SCI access challenges and protect national security capabilities.
• Serve as the lead security authority for sensitive compartmented programs under ICD-906, overseeing all operational, physical, technical, and personnel security requirements.
• Negotiate reciprocal intelligence access mechanisms with external Intelligence Community authorities to resolve interagency security discrepancies and ensure secure information sharing.
• Deliver executive-level security briefings, indoctrinations, and debriefings to senior leadership, national laboratory officials, and external stakeholders.
