Job summary

Oscar Medical Group is seeking a supervising physician (1099) to oversee APPs for Virtual Health Assessment and Oscar Virtual Care. This remote role is open to Georgia residents, with malpractice insurance coverage provided.

You will report to a Director and supervise NPs and PAs across service lines, ensuring regulatory compliance. Requirements include MD/DO, board certification in IM/FM/EM, state licensure in Georgia, a compact license or IMLCC eligibility, and 3+ years in urgent care, ER, or

Qualifications

• Board-certification in Internal Medicine, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine.
• MD or DO from an accredited medical school.
• Must have compact license or be eligible for IMLCC.
• Must live in Georgia and hold an active Georgia license.
• 3+ years of clinical experience in urgent care, ER or outpatient family medicine.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct oversight and supervision of nurse practitioners and physician assistants within state by state regulations.
• Collaborate with MAs, RNs, and other providers across service lines.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
