Job summary

Insmed is seeking a Summer Intern – CMC Quality Assurance, Clinical Programs to join its QA team. The 12-week, full-time internship offers hands-on experience supporting QA activities for Phase 1–3 programs manufactured at CMOs, with potential rotations and goal-driven objectives aligned to the company’s strategic plan.

You will design QA metrics dashboards, analyze deviations/CAPAs, organize batch records in Veeva Vault, and collaborate across departments.

Qualifications

• Interest in pharmaceutical quality systems, clinical manufacturing, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to work independently and collaborate in a fast-paced environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication; highly organized with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Support QA activities for Insmed's Phase 1–3 programs manufactured at CMOs.
• Design and develop a QA Metrics Dashboard to improve visibility of quality metrics.
• Perform trending and analysis of deviations and CAPAs to identify systemic issues.
• Assist in organizing batch records and release documentation in Veeva Vault.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across departments and geographies on quality initiatives.
• Support projects including training development, policies/SOPs, and AI-driven quality initiatives.
