Job summary

A leading engineering firm is seeking a Substation Physical Engineer for remote work to design projects on distribution substations. Responsibilities include leading design and preparation of physical design drawings and coordinating with various disciplines. The ideal candidate will have a BS in Engineering, preferably electrical, and 2+ years of experience in substation physical design. The position offers a competitive salary range of $81,499.00 - $167,644.00 depending on experience.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience in substation physical design for electric utilities.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license or ability to obtain within 6 months.

Responsibilities

• Lead and oversee design and preparation of substation physical design drawings.
• Design and prepare engineering studies such as AC load and illumination.
• Coordinate with other disciplines to ensure quality deliverables.
• Support client meetings, technical discussions, and project planning efforts.
