Job summary

Elevance Health is seeking a Subrogation Lead to oversee complex Workers' Compensation and Third‑Party Liability recovery efforts. The role includes mentoring junior staff, auditing work, and shaping recovery procedures and policies.

The candidate will partner with Legal and other departments to apply relevant laws, communicate outcomes, and support special projects, ensuring alignment with company strategy.

Qualifications

• Requires a BA/BS degree and at least 5 years’ experience handling Workers' Compensation and/or Third‑Party Liability cases.

Responsibilities

• Oversees complex Workers' Compensation/Third Party Liability and other subrogation recovery cases.
• Provides ongoing training to lower‑level associates.
• Conducts audits of work.
• Develops procedures and provides input to policies.
• Reviews legal precedents.
• Researches and applies or interprets appropriate laws.
• Works with Legal Department. Prepares communications.
• Assists manager with special projects.
