The SSBN In-Service Program Office role supports naval submarine logistics, coordinating with NAVSEA, NAVSUP, DLA, and DCMA to resolve complex maintenance and procurement issues. The position requires a DoD Secret clearance, 7+ years in federal logistics, strong analytical and communication skills, and the ability to drive end-to-end supply chain processes in a dynamic defense

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a business or technical field.
  • 7+ years in logistics operations within the Federal Supply System.
  • Strong organizational and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Current DoD security clearance - Secret, with the ability to maintain it throughout employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical and programmatic support to the SSBN In-Service Program Office (PMS396).
  • Coordinate among Submarine Fleet stakeholders, NAVSEA/NAVSUP/DLA to resolve maintenance and material issues.
  • Research and resolve supply support impediments and optimize procurement actions.
  • Expand the Defense Industrial Base by developing reliable vendor partnerships for reverse engineering obsolete parts.
  • Lead end-to-end part lifecycle activities to deliver trusted submarine components.
  • Identify financial programming and resourcing needs for PMS396L2 operations.
