Job summary

Hanwha Qcells USA Corp in Irvine, CA is seeking a Subcontracts Specialist – Qualification and Relations. You will lead the subcontractor qualification process, build relationships with prospective and approved subcontractors, and collaborate with all functions to ensure scopes of work can be performed.

This hybrid role requires travel up to 30% and facilitating Avetta onboarding, NDA management, and pre-qualification activities across Construction, Engineering, Safety and Legal teams.

Qualifications

• Understand scopes of work for utility-scale solar projects.
• Read financial statements and assess company status.
• Work independently in a fast-paced, professional team environment.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Meet deadlines and drive actions to completion.
• Clear verbal and written communication across levels.
• Experience with Procore and SAP preferred.

Responsibilities

• Administer the Subcontractor Qualification process.
• Source new subcontractors and initiate qualification.
• Review and score subcontractors per evaluation process.
• Maintain qualification documents and records.
• Route and manage NDAs for signatures.
• Enter and maintain subcontractors in ERP systems.
• Coordinate NDA reviews with legal and management.
• Communicate status updates to project teams.
