Job summary

gpac partners with a respected engineering firm to add an experienced Structural Project Engineer for a fully remote role. You will design and deliver structural systems for a variety of building projects, collaborating with PMs, architects and other disciplines.

Candidates must be in US time zones (Pacific/Mountain/Central) or willing to relocate; 3–7 years of experience, a Bachelors in Civil/Structural Eng, and strong communication are essential; salary $80k–$90k plus bonuses.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering required.
• 3–7 years of structural design experience.
• Experience with concrete, steel, masonry, or wood frame designs.
• Knowledge of building codes and structural analysis software.
• EIT or PE/SE licensure is a plus but not required.
• Strong communication and ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform structural analysis and design for building projects using concrete, steel, masonry and wood frame systems.
• Prepare calculations, drawings, specifications and reports.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, clients and contractors.
• Review shop drawings and submittals and respond to RFIs.
• Support construction administration, including site observations as needed.
• Help mentor junior engineers and contribute to quality control reviews.
