Candidates should hold a B.S. in Structural Engineering, possess seismic design experience, and ideally have a PE license. Qualifications
13 years (Entry-Level) or 3+ years (Mid/Senior Level) of experience.
California PE/SE license is a plus.
Experience with concrete/steel structures and ideally Mass Timber.
Responsibilities
Design structural systems (steel, concrete, wood, masonry).
Analyze new/existing structures for gravity and seismic loads.
Prepare calculations, reports, and construction documents.
Collaborate with architects, MEP, and civil teams.
Participate in field observations, RFIs, and shop drawing reviews.
Attend client meetings and coordination sessions.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to a culture of learning.
Skills
Proficiency in CA codes (IBC, ASCE 7, ACI 318)
Excellent communication skills
Project coordination skills
Seismic design experience
Education
B.S. in Structural Engineering
M.S. in Structural Engineering (preferred)
