Preferred candidates will have experience in heavy snow loads and seismic conditions, along with licensure in Alaska. Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of experience as a licensed engineer, with 10 years preferred.
Experience with colder climates and high wind/snow loads is a plus.
Responsibilities
Plan and conduct independent engineering work, applying professional judgment.
Develop and adapt drawings, specifications, calculations, charts, and graphs.
Perform structural design and analysis using governing codes and standards.
Collaborate with architects and designers to integrate structural solutions.
Review shop drawings and ensure compliance with codes.
Conduct occasional site visits as required.
