Job summary

Sunbelt Modular is seeking a Structural Engineer with a PE license to support engineering design and provide calculations for gravity and lateral systems across multiple modular facilities in the United States.

Requirements include a BS in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program, 3+ years as a PE, and proficiency with Excel, RISA-3D and Woodworks; preference for AK/CA/HI licensure and familiarity with IBC/ASCE/NDS/AISC codes. Remote role with minimal travel.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering from ABET-accredited program.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with preference for AK/CA/HI licensure.
• NCEES record in good standing and 3+ years as PE (civil/structural).
• Experience with gravity and lateral structural calculations.
• Familiarity with IBC, ASCE, NDS, AISC, AISI codes.

Responsibilities

• Move a project through the structural design phase to completion.
• Provide complete structural calculation packages for modular units.
• Design gravity and lateral systems for modular structures.
• Develop gravity and lateral designs from concept through finish.
• Review drawings and develop structural details; support project teams.
