Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Remote PE Designer to join our construction team. The successful candidate will design and develop complex structural systems for commercial steel projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.

You'll collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers, use CAD software to create detailed plans, perform site visits, and provide technical guidance to project teams while managing multiple projects to meet deadlines.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years' experience in structural/commercial steel construction.
• P.E. license required or in process for licensure.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop complex structural systems for steel construction projects.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and engineers on project design.
• Create detailed CAD designs and construction plans.
• Perform site visits to verify construction aligns with design.
• Provide technical guidance and innovative design solutions.
