Job summary

Bowman is seeking a Structural Engineer III for remote work to design and manage advanced structural projects. You will apply engineering principles to develop new or refined techniques, and coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications include a bachelor’s in structural or civil engineering, 5+ years of experience, and proficiency with MicroStation, AutoCAD, and other design tools. PE/SE registration is strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in structural or civil engineering required at employment time.
• Master's degree preferred for advanced responsibilities.
• 5+ years of engineering experience and PE/SE registration preferred.
• Experience with the listed design software and reading plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex structural engineering projects and coordinate cross-discipline teams.
• Prepare reports, drawings, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Conduct bridge inspections and prepare related reports.
• Collaborate with clients, contractors, and agencies on project issues.
• Assist in recruiting and training junior staff and drafters.
