Job summary

Konik is seeking a Structural Engineer to support a wide range of projects from residential to industrial structures. This fully remote role requires strong drafting to produce and verify 3D models and drawings, with collaboration across engineers and CAD technicians.

You will interpret plans, perform calculations from field data, and help maintain drafting standards while contributing to process improvements. A home office setup is required, and commission incentives enhance base compensation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher with structural emphasis.
• Experience with Autodesk products such as AutoCAD or Revit.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office, MathCAD, and 3D CAD modeling.
• Ability to interpret structural construction drawings.
• Field inspection experience and construction background beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction, sketches, and design requirements to CAD technicians for 3D models and drawings.
• Produce accurate drawings, files, engineered details, and project documentation.
• Prepare project notes, preliminary layouts, and final design plans from field data and engineering calculations.
• Review and refine design information to maintain alignment with standards.
• Coordinate drafting work across multiple projects and ensure team communication.
• Participate in design reviews to support constructability and clarity.
• Foster strong communication with internal teams and external partners.
