Chart Industries is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to lead procurement of castings, forgings, machined parts, and metal-based components. You will drive supplier selection, negotiations, and cost reductions while ensuring quality, delivery, and cross‑functional collaboration with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or related field required.
• 3–7+ years in sourcing/procurement or supply chain management.
• Experience sourcing castings, forgings, machined parts, or fabricated components.
• Strong analytical, financial, and problem‑solving skills.
• Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.
• Proficiency with ERP systems and Excel.
• Ability to collaborate across functions and travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for designated commodities and supplier categories.
• Identify and qualify new suppliers to support growth and resilience.
• Lead RFQ/RFP activities, supplier evaluations, and sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts and terms to optimize total cost and quality.
• Analyze quotations, cost structures, and processes to uncover savings.
• Drive annual cost reduction and continuous improvement across the supply base.
• Lead supplier rationalization and development activities with cross‑functional teams.
• Support product transfers and new product introductions with Engineering and Quality.
