Chart Industries is seeking a Strategic Sourcing Manager to develop and implement strategies for metal-based commodities. You will lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, cost reduction, and supply base optimization across cross-functional teams.

The role emphasizes global supplier development, risk mitigation, and continuous improvement, with opportunities for regional and international collaboration. Remote work is supported with travel as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, Operations Management, or related field.
• 3–7+ years in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Experience with castings, forgings, machined or fabricated components.
• Strong analytical and negotiation skills; ability to manage supplier relationships.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sourcing strategies for designated commodities and supplier categories.
• Lead RFQ/RFP activities, supplier evaluations, and sourcing decisions.
• Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms to achieve best total cost of ownership.
• Conduct market research and supplier benchmarking to support strategies.
• Drive cost reduction initiatives and supply base optimization.
