Job summary

NVA General Practice is seeking a Manager, Strategic Sourcing-Indirect (Technology) to lead IT software and hardware sourcing across a remote, multi-site veterinary organization. You will drive end-to-end sourcing programs, coach a small team, and partner with Operations, Technology, Finance, and Real Estate to optimize value and ensure compliant, scalable processes.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business, Healthcare Administration, or a related field required.
Advanced degree (MBA or similar) preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

Lead and develop a high-performing team of 1–2 sourcing professionals across varying levels of experience and geographies.
Lead end-to-end sourcing initiatives (RFPs, negotiations, contracting, and implementation) to deliver cost savings and supplier innovation.
Partner with business units to define sourcing requirements and evaluate supplier capabilities.
Manage supplier relationships, monitor service levels, and drive continuous improvement and compliance.
Maintain sourcing documentation, contracts, scorecards, and savings trackers.
Support implementation of sourcing policies, tools, and best practices for consistency and scalability.
