Job summary

Empower LLC is seeking a Regulatory Strategy & Testing professional to monitor regulatory developments across major authorities, analyze impact, and support examinations and readiness planning. You will prepare briefs, maintain a regulatory intelligence repository, and escalate critical issues with actionable recommendations.

The role emphasizes cross-functional collaboration and governance reporting. The position allows remote/hybrid work and requires strong analytical and communication skills

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field.
• 5+ years in financial services compliance or regulatory affairs.
• Ability to interpret complex regulatory materials.
• Strong research, writing, and presentation skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Monitor regulatory developments from SEC, FINRA, DOL, and regulators.
• Analyze developments for business impact, risk, and urgency.
• Support examinations, inquiries, and supervisory engagements.
• Prepare regulatory intelligence summaries and executive briefings.
• Maintain repository of regulatory developments and themes.
• Escalate significant developments with recommended next steps.
• Assist with mock examinations and regulatory readiness assessments.
• Develop dashboards and governance materials.
• Synthesize information for senior leadership and governance forums.
