Job summary

Westinghouse Electric Company LLC is seeking a Commercial Director of Strategic Projects to lead business development and execution for large, strategic nuclear programs globally. You will own the end-to-end commercial lifecycle from opportunity identification through contract award, leveraging the full Westinghouse portfolio.

Reporting to the VP Commercial, Strategic Projects, this remote role can be performed from anywhere in the United States.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or a related field. Advanced degree preferred.
10+ years of commercial leadership, sales, business development, or project management in nuclear/energy.
Experience with large, complex, high-value nuclear programs (uprates, modernization, life-extension).
International commercial experience.
Proven track record securing complex multi-million dollar contracts.
Strong understanding of nuclear operations, safety culture, and regulatory frameworks.
Advanced negotiation skills and structuring complex agreements.
Travel up to 50%.

Responsibilities

Shape winning capture strategies and build executive relationships, delivering value-based solutions to nuclear utilities and stakeholders.
Lead and execute commercial strategies for high-value nuclear programs through contract signature and handover to the Project Director.
Articulate economic value propositions for plant upgrades with stakeholders in coordination with technical and financial teams.
Engage customers early to shape concepts, frameworks, and decision criteria ahead of procurement.
Coordinate cross-BU commercial integration for strategic programs.
Assess market dynamics and position Westinghouse early in uprate and strategic plant programs.
Build trusted executive relationships with utilities and government bodies; position Westinghouse as a long-term partner.
Provide forecasting, pipeline management, and reporting to senior leadership; manage opportunities per governance.
