Job summary

Foundation for California Community Colleges seeks a SPIR professional to advance student success and equity through research and evaluation. The role emphasizes data-driven policy insights, collaboration with diverse stakeholders, and supporting statewide initiatives.

You will analyze datasets, conduct literature reviews, and develop briefs and presentations, using tools like Stata, SQL, Atlas.ti, and Asana to coordinate multi-team efforts while traveling occasionally.

Qualifications

• Minimum of three years of related work experience in research, evaluation, stakeholder engagement, and/or project management.
• Experience in higher education systems and working with diverse stakeholders.
• Experience writing reports and managing multiple projects with deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Support planning, design, and implementation of research and evaluation initiatives advancing student success and equity.
• Collect, clean, validate, analyze, and interpret quantitative and qualitative data from internal and external sources.
• Independently conduct quantitative analysis using Stata and support data work with SQL and Stata.
• Prepare and analyze qualitative data using methods and tools such as Atlas.ti.
• Develop research briefs, reports, data visualizations, and presentations for policy recommendations.
• Collaborate with SPIR and external partners to support implementation of research initiatives.
• Maintain project plans and track milestones using Asana across multiple workstreams.
