Job summary

The Strategic Research intern role at Stand Together Fellowships supports Pacific Legal Foundation’s mission with high-quality social science research. You will work on data collection, literature reviews, and writing projects as part of a cross-disciplinary team.

Remote by default with the option to work from PLF offices; open to undergraduates, graduates, and recent graduates nationwide in the United States.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Interest in public policy, law, and liberty-focused work.
• Ability to conduct literature reviews and data analysis.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with public officials to obtain records.
• Collect, organize, and analyze data with Excel, R, Python, GIS or Stata.
• Conduct literature reviews on regulatory topics and housing rights.
• Develop internal data for litigation or policy campaigns.
• Write blog posts, op-eds, or one-pagers related to PLF’s work.
