Stand Together Fellowship is seeking an intern for the State Policies program, working remotely with the Marijuana Policy Project Foundation. The role focuses on cannabis policy research, monitoring legislation, and drafting communications for advocates and lawmakers.

Under supervision, you will analyze policy, draft written materials, and assist with outreach to supporters and legislators. This full-time remote internship is open to undergraduate, graduate, law students, or recent graduates.

Qualifications

• Strong research and writing skills for policy-related content.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Ability to work independently in a remote team.

Responsabilités

• Monitor legislation in assigned states and identify bills to support or oppose.
• Draft emails, letters, and testimony related to cannabis policy.
• Research legislators’ stances and maintain a policy stance tracker.
• Assist with advocacy tasks, including remote testimony and coordinating with allied groups.
