Job summary

Pacific Legal Foundation is seeking a motivated intern to support the Coalitions team across national offices. This paid position offers exposure to policy research, outreach, and strategic partnerships while you learn how public policy and liberty advocacy operate in real-world settings.

You will assist with research, draft materials for conferences, and help coordinate across departments. Remote work is supported; part-time hours align with academic schedules.

Qualifications

• Geographically located in and authorized to work in the United States for the duration of the program.
• Strong written and oral communication skills.
• Interest in public policy, liberty, and coalition-building.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities.

Responsibilities

• Conducting industry, company, and trade association research to support client and case development efforts.
• Drafting one-pagers, briefing materials, and other documents for Private Sector Partnerships to use at conferences, meetings, and other external engagements.
• Researching relevant conferences, industry trends, and trade associations to identify potential partnership and outreach opportunities.
• Organizing and maintaining contact databases, tracking relationship-building efforts, and assisting with spreadsheet updates and other administrative tasks.
• Supporting outreach and follow-up with businesses, trade associations, and other industry stakeholders.
• Opportunity to travel to select external events (optional).
