Winland Foods is seeking an Indirect Procurement Manager to oversee and execute procurement of indirect materials and services across the United States and Canada. The role reports to the Director of Indirect Procurement and aims to achieve cost reductions while preserving quality and service.

Qualifications

Experience analyzing and improving complex supply chain data, information and processes.
High-level understanding of all aspects of indirect supply chain processes.
Excellent interpersonal written and speaking skills.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and negotiating skills.
Strong critical thinking skills, ability to exercise independent judgment and manage complexity and ambiguity.
High degree of professionalism and a strong sense of ownership.
Independently motivated and autonomous; ability to make things happen.
Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel and PowerPoint).
Familiarity and general aptitude for ERP systems (SAP) is preferred.

Responsibilities

Oversees and executes activities related to procurement of indirect materials and services, from intent to purchase through to delivery of project.
Manages vendor selection and negotiation process for indirect vendors.
Identifies, selects, and maintains suppliers that provide high quality products and services at a competitive price while meeting Winland's Supplier Code of Conduct.
Prepare and review proposal requests, contracts, bids, and agreements for correctness of terms and prices, and acceptability of specifications.
Communicates actively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and performance management of the category.
Ensures categories are contracted in line with the sourcing strategy.
Directly solves operational issues with indirect vendors.
Reviews and resolves indirect vendor claims and contracts for conformance.
Prepares and issues purchase contracts and change notices.
Ensures alignment with Procurement strategies and ways of working (where applicable).
Understands the impact of long-term running cost and the engagement of business to minimize costs at an early stage.
Determine and implement KPIs that can be used to measure Indirect spend performance.
