Job summary

Simera is seeking a highly analytical Financial Analyst to support financial planning, reporting, forecasting, and data analysis. The role focuses on interpreting financial information, identifying trends, preparing reports, and delivering insights to drive business decisions.

You will analyze financial data, build models, monitor performance metrics, and collaborate with accounting, finance, and operations teams to ensure accuracy and timely deliverables.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
• Experience preparing financial reports, forecasts, budgets and financial models.
• Strong Excel or spreadsheet modeling skills.
• Experience with variance analysis and financial reporting.
• Understanding of financial statements and metrics.
• Experience with financial systems, databases, or BI tools.
• Ability to analyze large data and communicate conclusions.
• Ability to meet deadlines with accuracy.
• Remote work capability and reliable internet connection.

Responsibilities

• Analyze financial data, business performance, and operational metrics.
• Prepare financial reports, forecasts, budgets, and management presentations.
• Develop and maintain financial models, spreadsheets, and analytical tools.
• Monitor revenue, expenses, profitability, cash flow, and key indicators.
• Perform variance analysis and investigate differences between actual and planned results.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.
• Collect, organize, and validate financial information from multiple sources.
• Prepare regular financial and performance reports for management and stakeholders.
• Identify trends, risks, opportunities, and areas for financial improvement.
• Conduct financial and business analysis to support strategic decision-making.
• Assist with scenario analysis and financial projections.
• Collaborate with Accounting, Finance, Operations, and other teams to gather and validate information.
• Maintain accurate financial models, databases, and supporting documentation.
• Research financial and market information when required.
• Ensure analyses and reports are accurate, timely, and consistent.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to stakeholders.
• Support special financial projects and process improvement initiatives.
