Job summary

micro1 is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead, Finance, to own end-to-end execution for AI Lab finance-focused initiatives. You will translate client needs into project specs, design and launch finance data pipelines, and coordinate Operations and Finance experts for fast, high-quality delivery.

With 2+ years leading complex projects, you will drive milestones, maintain clear client communication, and help scale finance workflows in a remote-first, international environment.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of experience leading complex projects, operational workflows, or finance-related initiatives.
• Strong background in Finance, Financial Engineering, Economics, or Accounting.
• Ability to turn ambiguous customer requirements into clear plans and execute rapidly.

Responsibilities

• Own projects end to end, from pipeline framing and scoping through execution and delivery.
• Translate customer needs into clear, actionable project specifications for Finance workflows.
• Design and continuously improve finance-focused pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability.
• Align Operations and Finance domain experts for rapid deployment.
• Set delivery milestones and drive a tight execution cadence.
• Own client communication, keeping it clear, direct, and consistent.
• Manage Finance domain experts and project leads to ensure quality and delivery.
• Provide daily internal updates with progress, blockers, and explicit next steps.
