Newton Street is seeking an Account Manager to lead integrated strategic communications for social impact initiatives, global health, and philanthropic clients. You will guide media relations, craft narratives, and translate stories across digital, social, newsletters, and websites, advising senior leaders and clients.

Qualifications

• 6–8 years of experience in public relations or strategic communications.
• Proven success in securing earned media coverage and thought leadership placements.
• Strong understanding of journalists, newsworthiness, and extending moments across digital channels.
• Exceptional writing and editing skills.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted day‑to‑day partner to clients, managing relationships with confidence and care.
• Lead media and digital communications strategies, including developing story angles, messaging, and narrative platforms.
• Pitch journalists and editors; secure media coverage, op‑eds, interviews, and thought leadership placements.
• Identify opportunities to extend media moments across digital, social and owned channels.
• Draft and edit high‑quality written materials, including media pitches, press materials, op‑eds, speeches, and briefing documents.
• Support media training and message development for executives and subject‑matter experts.
• Advise clients on earned media, digital platforms, and owned channels to advance strategic goals.
• Collaborate with internal teams to ensure alignment and flawless execution.
• Track and analyze media and digital performance; provide clear reports on impact and opportunities.
