Job summary

Brown & Brown, Inc. is seeking a Strategic Claims Consultant to join our Risk Solutions team in Atlanta, GA or remotely. You will advise clients on claim strategy, analyze programs, coordinate resources, and collaborate with brokers, TPAs and carriers to improve outcomes and mitigate exposure.

The role emphasizes proactive communication, executive summaries, and data-driven recommendations, with opportunities to mentor junior team members and contribute to client development and proposal efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Risk Management or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Experience with workers' compensation and liability claims is highly preferred.
• Ability to establish work priorities and manage time effectively.
• Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on claim strategy, documentation, resource coordination, and vendor management support.
• Support strategies for cost mitigation, claim resolution progress, and timely advancement of discussions.
• Anticipate issues and facilitate proactive communication among client, TPA/Carrier, vendors, and internal teams.
• Provide guidance on coverage positions, claim strategy, and resolution options.
• Collaborate to advance timely, fair, and efficient claim resolution through follow-up and negotiation.
• Provide claim status insight and trend information to internal service teams and brokers.
• Identify and communicate recommendations to improve outcomes and program alignment.
• Develop and maintain claim service plans based on client needs and trends.
• Identify and support process improvements for efficiencies and resource alignment.
