Job summary

Brown & Brown is seeking a Strategic Claims Consultant to deliver expert claims consulting, program analysis, and risk support services for clients in Atlanta, GA or remotely. You will collaborate with Senior Leaders, brokerage partners, and internal teams to optimize closures, mitigate exposure, and align resources with program needs.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Workers' Compensation and Liability claims experience, a Bachelor’s degree in Business or Risk Management, and strong skills in

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required or equivalent in Business, Risk Management, or related field.
• 8–10 years of related insurance experience with Workers' Compensation and Liability claims preferred.
• Must be able to obtain state broker licenses.
• Strong communication, presentation, and client relationship skills.
• Proficiency with MS Office (PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and data gathering/analysis.
• Ability to prioritize work and manage time effectively.
• Ability to lead discussions with clients and markets; strong listening skills.

Responsibilities

• Consult with clients on claim strategy, documentation, and vendor management needs.
• Support cost mitigation, claim resolution progress, and timely discussions aligned with client objectives.
• Coordinate communication among client, TPA/Carrier, vendors, and internal teams.
• Develop and maintain claim service plans based on client needs and trends.
• Provide executive summaries and forward-looking recommendations to influence claim handling.
