micro1 is seeking a Strategic Projects Lead to own end-to-end execution of complex AI and data initiatives supporting U.S. Government and national security missions. You will translate requirements into actionable specifications and coordinate cross-functional teams to deliver scalable data pipelines.

You will drive delivery milestones, manage risks, and ensure compliance with data handling and QA standards while communicating progress to stakeholders in a fast-paced, remote-first environment.

• 2+ years leading complex technical projects.

• Own projects end to end, from pipeline framing and scoping through execution and delivery.
• Translate complex customer requirements into clear, actionable technical and operational project specifications.
• Design and continuously improve data pipelines for usability, accuracy, quality, and scalability.

• Establish delivery milestones, manage dependencies, and maintain a tight execution cadence.
• Own client communication, ensuring clear, direct, and consistent engagement with technical and operational stakeholders.

• Provide daily internal updates covering progress, blockers, risks, and explicit next steps.
• Ensure project workflows align with customer-specific data handling, quality assurance, and documentation requirements.
