Symetra is offering a Stop Loss Sales Intern position for Spring 2027. The program is fully remote and spans 10 weeks, designed to give hands-on exposure to the excess loss insurance industry, Symetra’s products, underwriting, distribution channels, and cross-sell opportunities within the Benefits Division.

You will engage in market research, assist Sales Managers, analyze sales data, and support broker interactions through virtual ride-alongs.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program and pursuing a career path in sales.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills required.
• Willingness to collaborate and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and virtual conferencing.
• Strong organization and attention to detail; research and analytical skills.

Responsabilités

• Research and market analysis to assist in sourcing sales opportunities.
• Assist Sales Managers within Stop Loss on projects and daily selling activities.
• Analyze sales data and create reports on sales initiatives.
• Support sales presentations to broker/partners in virtual ride-alongs.
• Participate in sales-related process, tools, and implementation projects.
