Job summary

Synthires is seeking a STEM Expert (MSc/PhD) for a remote, contract-based role. The position is part-time, approximately 15 hours per week, with flexible scheduling and immediate onboarding. Compensation is $60–$120 per hour.

You will apply deep expertise in a scientific or quantitative field to solve advanced problems, review AI-generated solutions, and validate results using Python and related tools. Prior experience with coding agents in technical workflows is preferred.

Qualifications

Strong expertise in at least one STEM field.
Practical proficiency in Python or another programming language.
Strong scientific, mathematical, or quantitative problem-solving skills.
Experience using coding agents in technical workflows.
MSc or PhD required (or equivalent).
Familiarity with NumPy/SciPy/Pandas/Jupyter is a plus.

Responsibilities

Solve complex scientific, mathematical, and technical problems within your area of expertise.
Review AI-generated solutions for scientific, mathematical, and factual accuracy.
Identify incorrect assumptions, reasoning errors, and overlooked constraints.
Use Python or other programming languages for calculations, simulations, and validation.
Provide rigorous, technically accurate solutions and feedback.
